Some are ethanol based like Prestone, some are salt based (the corrosive qualities of the salt are bad), and there are other "Natural" based ones too.

I like the fit and finish of the Japanese trucks, they just don't build em heavy enough for what I do, which is a bummer.

Chlorine will sanitize, with a couple of complete flushes after you treat it there will be no flavour. Not sure about you guys, but I'd rather go that way then drink pool water. And we do drink our water, a week boondocking means little other options.

Wabamun will be difficult, the mine, Provincial park, 2 summer villages and lots of cabins means there's not much riding around the lake.

The Mud Lites aren't heavy, but the sidewalls are thin, hence the Lite. The XTR's are a little heavier, but still much lighter than a full on mud tire. They also have a flatter profile like the Bear Claws but last better and have a slightly deeper tread. More money than the Claws or Lites...
