Interesting that there doesn't appear to be any fire damage. No burn marks, melted plastic - nuthin. Interesting technique to use acetylene for a rapid extrication. Just wonder how they would train for that...
Albeit, expensive, how ever it would be the most effective and fastest acting...
Thats too bad. It doesnt surprise me that bush bashers (partiers and the 2-4 wheel kind too) got in there and wrecked it for everyone else. This is the place that I complained about a yr or 2 ago about 4x4'ers mowing down trees to get through and drinkin beer whilst they're doing it. No...
So last week I was coming home from Drayton Valley and thought I would zip into HHA just to see how it looked for winter quading. I get to the end of the road where the gate is and it is cluttered with large boulders all over the place blocking any hope of entering. It looks like the parking...
Check out memory express in Edm. I dont know if they have any right now. I bought one last summer from them C10 and best price around at that time. (BTW no affiliation with ME)
Thank-you for all the information and replies. I have decided to go with Rhino. I called rhino the other night thinking they might be open late. I got call forwarded to the owner, (well after closing time) still he talked to me for almost a half hour, answered all my questions and seemed to...
I have to agree here. I also agree with the Judge that stated the mitigating factors is that the guy fired 2wice at the thief. 2nd time while he was on the ground if I am not mistaked. Shooting a guy in the back 2wice while he is running away from you is not justifiable. Luckily he didnt...
OK so I know there is a ton of posts here about spray in liners but I am not quite finding what I am looking for. I was at The Truck Out Fitters today in Edmonton. They quoted me a spray in for a 6 1/2 ft box under rails for $475.00 plus a percent discount. I havent heard anything about the...
I dont know..... Voxcom has me shaking my head. I had a fire in my house in may. I came home to find my house full of smoke and alarms blaring. I Some how managed to call the fire in before Voxcom did. I never rec'd an initial call from them, as per requested protocol. So fire dept is on...
I am not sure they did you wrong. If you were not satisfied with the product (which you weren't) they encouraged/allowed you to return it even tho you tinkered with and modified it. What more would you like them to do? They responded to your quiries in a reasonable way.
I don't think this is anything new to Dodge. I had a '77 short box stepside that did the same thing. Usually if there was mud on the tire. It would set up such a violent bucking and heaving like I had a 4 ft very oval tire. I would have to stop the truck and then it would drive fine. As a...
Ooooh besides drivers that cut you off
How's about people that raise their voice to a rather loud level to talk on a cell phone. I mean really? Every one with in 200 yards doesnt need to hear your conversation.
The difference I was told is the winches themselves are identical. The only difference is the cable - 25's have a 3/16" cable and the 3000 lb winches have a 1/4" cable.
One other thing too.... Who here hasnt been muddin and soaked/splashed winch, ran winch line on ground through mud, sand and dirt. All that stuff - little particles get embedded in the line and will wear, cut and degrade. Ropes typically will fail from the inside out unless cut or abraded...
My first job was working in an orange juice factory, but I got canned, ...couldn't concentrate.
Then I worked in the woods as a lumberjack, but I just couldn't hack it, so they gave me the ax.
After that I tried to be a tailor, but I just wasn't suited for it ... mainly because it was a so-so...
Hmm I see fried harnesses, cooked wheel bearings, a whole litany of stuff that will be cropping up. Hope they write it off 'cause the problems and down time won't end untill yer outta dat truck. Just sayin...
