    Better gearing

    Hi guys looking for some info on gearing . I have a 08 Everest 146 " with 2.5" lug . just wondering what would be my best bet for ridings in the trees ? not worried about losing top speed. I believe I have 19 - 45 at the moment and any info would be great.

    Ok so I'm going put the ramps from my 146" clutch and put them in the 163" clutch . Which spring do you think would work better for in the mountains . The one from my 146 or 163 ? I will be putting the clutch from the 163 on my 146 because it's partially new.

    It rattles pretty good when it's ilding but when I give it gas it don't . I leave for BC tomorrow and was just going to switch them out .

    I have a 2008 xp summit 146" and I noticed a noise in my primary clutch and I have a backup but it's from a 2010 XP 163 " . Will I be able to use this for a backup?

    2008 xp summit Everest 800 engine light followed by 4 beeps

    Found the problem , turn out one of the fuses that are clipped on to my oil tank was gone. I traced the wires and it led me to the DPM solenoid which would explain why I was only pulling around 7800 RPM's . Thanks to this awesome site I saved myself a couple hundred bucks and learnt something new .

    Replacing my e module

    Turns out i don't have to remove the motor or the chaincase there lots of room to work and the punch and hammer was way easier then drilling . I have the old ones out and just waiting on my new ones , I went with the ones for a 600 rs for replacement .

    Replacing my e module

    Was wondering if anyone has replaced there e-module before and if so could a guy use 1/4" inch grade 8 bolts ? I think I can get away with not taking the motor out . Anyone have any tips or suggestions ? And was wondering if the 600 rs has the same ones or are they more rugged and reinforced.

    2008 xp summit Everest 800 engine light followed by 4 beeps

    Was out on my sled today and put 135 km on her and on my way home my engine light came on followed by 4 beeps . Sled ran fine from what I could tell, anyone ever have an issue like this happen?

    Turns out I had the DPM solenoid vacuum line was hooked to the gas tank vent instead of the airbox , switched it out and sled ran perfect

    With the choke off it barley runs , had the carbs off cleaned and inspected all looked good , I had new plugs installed when the motor was done and when I took them out to look they were soaked with gas

    Just had a complete motor rebuild on my 08 xp summit and had here out for a test run and i noticed that the sled will bog out around 4-6 thousand RPM's and have to pump the gas to catch her from stalling . Have to run her with the choke half open , has anyone ever had any problems similar to...
