Can am frames are weak. If you hit them at the right angle in the front it will twist or bend the frame very easily. I rode a can am renegade 800 for about 5 minutes and my son smacked into the front end of it at a very slow speed 10-15 mph. He was not hurt and his 90 had a slight bend in the...
I have also done this and installed the 156x2.5x3.0 pitch camo with an 8'' big wheel kit. I moved the suspension down and back, 7 tooth 3 pitch drivers and a timbersled with 151 rails and timbersled 4 '' drop brackets. Looks good. I also run DJs clutch kit. I see u have the moflow vents too I...
I just installed mine from moflow vents(moflowvents.com) and they are great qaulity, clutch side has 2 layers one is the slp type fabric and the outside layer is rubber/plastic grill with a plastic frame. They look really good too.

What is your current gearing? What angle of helix are you running? Did you change your drivers size?
The easy way is to look uo a 2004 rev summit with a 151 and go with the same set up.Look at the helix angle, primary ramps, and the gear sizes and chain size. You can look it up on the skidoo web...
I called V-force and they said no spacers. If you compare the stock reed cage and the V-force you will find that tthe Vforce reed is a 1/4'' shorter than the stock doo ones.
The v-force reed is approx, a 1/4 '' further out in the intake with the spacer and without the spacer it is about a 1/4''...
Go for it.I have the 16 wide on my Zx.Wildchild makes a bracket that bolts directly to your existing rear bracket.Switch out all interfering bolts to carriage bolts for more clearance.Install some washers at the rear bracket to spread the tunnel a bit.You will have to also remove your top idlers...
I was up at Mcbride on the weekend riding the hills.I stayed at Rods place and was amazed at how much work he does on those hills.
He was grooming constantly, 10 hrs Fri. night,18 hrs on sat. and back at it again on sunday night.
Just to raise the awarness, this is not a quick run up the hill...
It depends on your gearing, normally every size chain has room for gear changes. You could change your gearing if you dont like the bend, but it is normal.
Another helpful hint is to place a spring on the pilot bit to remove the plug after you drill. It saves a lot of time.I didnt bother grinding down the teeth, you will still get a nice cut with the heat.Build atemplate and watch the placement of the holes with your rear idlers.
