I’d buy one but I didn’t see much difference between the pro and alpha I loved it. Mind u it was a prototype and would only hit 7700 rpm but very easy to ride. My pro is a 13
The one thing I loved about this skid is the lack of snow/ice build up in the skid. I dropped into some trees with good snow and that’s what it looked like after. I was playing in the same area with my pro and it had at least 60-70lbs of ice and snow in the skid. The alpha did make some weird...
I was very impressed with how little snow was in the skid. Demoed one in valemount and dropped into some trees with good snow and barley any snow In the skid. Compared to my pro that looked like an ice block in the skid with about 60-70lbs of snow in it playing in the same area.
What a treat this trip was meet great people to shred with in some wicked snow. I didn't even have time to take pics but here's one from our group.

This is what the mechanic told me whatever controls the exhuast brake I'm assuming as this is all internal. It failed in the on position preventing the motor from getting air and would only run on fuel which spiked the egts instantly!
Sounds like a turbo exhaust valve failure. I have 2011 and have gone through 2 turbos which did the exact same thing, and I found that my fan quit working and my coolant would get hot which intern fried the electronics which is cooled with the coolant.
Just as the post says I'm off work Thursday and willing to travel early Friday morning from Edmonton area to ride Friday/Saturday . I'm a very experienced rider with all the gear and I'm willing to help shovel/pull skis, also I know the Valemount area really well.
I'm off Thursdays and would love too tag along Friday/Saturday if that works, I'm a very experienced mountain rider and know Valemount very well. Pm me if it works
