I have been very happy with my teryx. The Yamaha is a great machine but I wanted more power, speed, and a bit more stability. The new Can am looks great but need a few more out to see if they hold up. they are also very spendy.

That might have been the problem with the studs. I got a brute force after the chains & now I just put it in 4x4 & pin it in the tuff spots. Cruise right through & keep going. A set of chains was a lot cheaper than a new quad. Might be a fit for some guys that are not in the position to buy...

I've tried studs & chains. The studs pull out of the tires when you spin on frozen ground, last out on your ride, the way back to the truck they are mostly missing. Plugs work great. Have used more than I wish to admit. Last year I used one to fix a hole in my tyrex rad. Put a small piece of plug in the hole & squeezed with a vice grip. Rode back to truck about 5 miles on cut lines, never leaked at all.

I have a tyrex & use it on the farm a lot, easy to get in & out of, check & repair fence, chase cows. The list goes on & on. Never use my brute force or my old dodge truck any more, just the tyrex.
