    Brute Force Oil Filter

I got a filter for my brute from my dealer, almost choked at the price. Looked and measured it,then cross referenced it and the one from my Suzuki v strom 650 was the same & 5 bucks cheaper. Now the wife has a Subaru outback and same filter and they are 7 bucks a piece from the dealer. Now I...

BruteFroce 750 or Can Am 650

I have a 07 650i with 3000km's on it. No trouble with it at all except the tires are now wore out, rims are bent from hitting rocks. Pulled my buddies poopo out of the woods a few times. Also a cat a couple times. No body we ride with has a Can Am so I don't know about them. Look good to me but...

    Rhino vs ... opinions

I have been very happy with my teryx. The Yamaha is a great machine but I wanted more power, speed, and a bit more stability. The new Can am looks great but need a few more out to see if they hold up. they are also very spendy.

    qaud chains

That might have been the problem with the studs. I got a brute force after the chains & now I just put it in 4x4 & pin it in the tuff spots. Cruise right through & keep going. A set of chains was a lot cheaper than a new quad. Might be a fit for some guys that are not in the position to buy...

    qaud chains

I've tried studs & chains. The studs pull out of the tires when you spin on frozen ground, last out on your ride, the way back to the truck they are mostly missing. They seemed to be good on ice, that's about it. Chains dig in great every where but not on rock. If climbing a steep hill and drive...

are tire sealants any good to use.

Plugs work great. Have used more than I wish to admit. Last year I used one to fix a hole in my tyrex rad. Put a small piece of plug in the hole & squeezed with a vice grip. Rode back to truck about 5 miles on cut lines, never leaked at all.

    Magpie problem

I agree with this completely. But don't shoot them in a trap. My trap has a door in it big enough for my arm to fit in. Grab a stick 1x1x about 15" long. Open the door & stick your arm in. 1 quick light crack on the head & magpie is dead, I can kill 8 to 10 magpies in less than 1 minute. The...

    Abandoned Rail Line ownership

For the abandoned rail line east of Stettler to the border, I believe the company that owned it just gave the land back to the local countys. Who would buy any land 100' wide by 200 miles long right beside a highway with a road cutting crossing it every mile? I think you are asking because you...

    Side by Side

I have a tyrex & use it on the farm a lot, easy to get in & out of, check & repair fence, chase cows. The list goes on & on. Never use my brute force or my old dodge truck any more, just the tyrex.

looking for small sport bike for wife to learn on

The 250 ninja my wife had could pass a vehicle no problem, not as fast as a bigger bike but faster than most cars. It was a smaller bike, a 6' guy would be cramped any thing longer than 10 minutes. But if the wife is not a tall lady, might be just the bike to learn on. Buy it used & sell in a...

Looking into getting a new atv...

After owning a arctic cat & buddy's owning 3 Polaris's & me with a brute force I would say to stay with the Japanese made quads. They seam to be lighter more durable & reliable. Ive also owned a couple of yamahas, they were good to.

    Let's talk winches

I have the RT25 on my brute force 650 for about 2 years & the RT30 on my 750 trex for almost 1 year. Seem to be good winches,no problems yet.If I did it again I would go for a wireless remote on the side x side. It is to far to reach from the switch to the cable to spool it back in,so I have to...
