I thought this thread was for snow conditions?? How come there's NEVER any pics or updates that a person can actually use other than Ular is coming or Ular is here and he's dumping? This is one of the worst threads here......for updates on conditions..
I thought this was a thread for the snow conditions, not for who should be going where and where they shouldn't be and what type of trailer or deck to take their sleds on!! This has to be the crappiest thread for snow conditions and pics I have ever seen.....Just sayin!!
Too many pages too...
Can't friggn wait.....2 more weeks and we be out there..... hope it keeps snowing out there as we don't have any!!!!! Haven't even had the sleds out yet this year!!
So much for the "January Snow Conditions".....If you want to complain about the condition of the trails then start a new thread!! This thread is for snow conditions....I'm no expert, but man-o-man is there ever a lot of professional groomer operators out there.....Stop complaining on this thread...
Must have snow like a bugger there the last 3 days.....was doing the trail to Foxcreek on sat, the trail was hard but smooth and we couldn't find any decent pow to play in even if our lives depended on it..lol
Was a nice area to ride in but not much fun when the fields are set up like concrete..:(
I know this doesn't have anything to do with the conditions on the hills, but I'm wondering what the road conditions are from the west park entrance to Mcbride. Weather network shows hwy is critical.....I don't think it's that bad....or is it?:offtopic:
Coming to enjoy the DEEEEEEP stuff on the...
Thanks for the input, not having a lot of mountain experience, two cents from someone who has more experience than I is greatly appreciated...I guess we will be seeing you on the 19th.
This may sound stupid....but, is it really neccesary to have avy gear for riding Belle...or is it "better safe than sorry" no matter what part of the area you are in? I was under the impression that this is a family area and the avy risk is very, very low if nonexistant. I don't have a problem...
Coming on Feb 19-21. Wanting to sled Belle, never been there, was at Lucille last year. Not familiar with the area at all...I know Belle is a "family" area, as we really don't have 'any' mountain experience, we've been sledding for a couple of years, we want to stay away from the avy dangers...
Good morning.....coming to Mcbride for Feb 19-21. I know you folks sell day passes, but do you also have area maps of the sledding areas. We are not familiar with the area so I'm looking for a map of the Belle area. We were there this time last year on Lucille and didn't have any luck finding a...
That would be nice for the people like me that don't know the area that well and get to go there even less.....and for those of us that haven't been sledding that long to be able to find places to sled that are relatively safe.:specool:
I agree with both of you......people expect the best of everything and expect to get it for either nothing or next to nothing. For some reason people figure that someone owes them something for all the $$ they've spent...kudos to you for telling them where to go and how to ge there..
