Had to share my interesting luck from the weekend. I always wear my tether, I have the plastic clip the doo comes with hooked to a carabiner to my avy vest.
Well...this weekend for a day rip to Quartz...I get bucked off the sled, the tether snaps, whips back and wraps around my throttle...

Sunday, getting ready to leave Quartz after camping for the night for an event at the hill, a guy in my group noticed this fire re-ignite itself. I think it was a bad spot for a fire anyways, but they could have at least cleaned up their garbage and distributed the logs on the dirt and put snow...
If anyone is like me and plans ahead...I am doing a reno on my house May 1st and will be trying to recycle, re-purpose or donate as much as possible. So there will be a few things up for grabs. I replaced all plumbing fixtures after 2009 sometime, just can't remember when. Everything works...
Trying to get another AST2 course going. Feb 21-24 in Revelstoke BC with Soulrides. 4 full days riding, class at night, $650 each and we need a min of 4. I did this last year and it was the best avy course I have ever taken. I learned SOOOOO much!
