Ok thanks for the replies. I have noticed that my machine does to tend to run a bit to the rich side but I'd rather be a bit to rich than blown up lol.
Hey all, I have an 06 Summit with no sway bar. With the way the steering is on these new machines I don't understand... Why are there no steering dampers available for sleds? Something that would help steering and you'd still gain the machines 'flexibility' with getting rid of the sway bar.
During the winter season(when there's snow) I would think a machine such as yours should be worth around $6000 - $7000. The problem is that no one really wants to buy a sled right now, unless the right deal comes up(unfortunately for you, that means CHEAP PRICE). Hate to say it but in late...
Just wondering with the warm spell and all, if anyone knows if there's anywhere west of Edmonton (preferably in Alberta) with enough snow for one last rip?
Ok. So it might be a good idea to change out the springs maybe every 1500kms or so? From what I've heard I think the roller secondary is the way to go and in my plans along with a complete freshening up this spring.( gonna go through both the top and bottom end because the machine has 3700kms on...
KK So if i was to roll will choking it help it start sooner or bad idea? Do you know how many rpm each number on the primary represents? And is it correct that once my primary is set up I can change my secondary to set up my clutch engagement rpm? higher number on the secondary means higher...
Thanks that should help. So these machines aren't the easiest to start when you roll them? Is the carb setup somewhat finickey? Can someone tell me what the proper sequence is for cold starting with the choke? My previous FI sled didn't have a choke.
Hi all. Today is a good day for me. Just picked up a stock 2006 Summit Adrenaline 800 151". My last machine was a 2003 Mountain Cat 800 efi and I really liked it, but ever since the rev's have been out I've really wanted to give one a try. Cat power vs Rev power? I'm not really WOWED by this new...
Well I don't have any pics but here is a video I posted on SnowandMud.com just showing everyone the exhaust system. things019.flv video by skimmin - Photobucket
LOL!!!!!!!!! NICE lol. I know it's a little on the loud side but it makes the same old riding a LOT of fun. Next time I'll go with the "QUIET THING". I really like this thing but sometimes is almost... ok it IS obnoxiously loud. Still no regrets though, It's not even close to that loud once your...
Check it out! Here's a link for a video of a "THING" exhaust can on my 03 Mtn Cat 800efi. Be sure to turn up the volume on the photobucket screen. The audio isn't the greatest but it should give you an idea. My ears were ringing! The best $450 I've spent on this sled. Feel free to add some...
If you want REALLY loud go with the "THING". If you want not so loud go with the "QUIET THING". These cans are a little pricier but the craftsmanship and gains (weight and HP. I can't believe how much it 'woke up' my sled), as well as the wicked sound with this can seem to be far superior to a...
Get the "THING" or the "QUIET THING". Depending on whether you want REALLY loud or not. I have the "THING" on my 03 Mountain Cat 800. It gave me more throttle response, it sounds AWESOME and besides the the weight loss, I think I gained a pony or two cuz my machine 'stands up' considerably...
