Whatch out for this company" Velocity Devices Inc."

Re: Watch out for this company" Velocity Devices Inc." Personally I've never used a VDI product (because I'm life long Honda owner) but I ride with several people who have them and they do take some tuning to get them to do what you want, but everyone I know a had great service from VDI with...

Brazeau ATV Poker Rally - Sept 13, 2014

It was a good ride. Pretty tame for the most part, trails around all the real bad spots, a couple of hills but nothing crazy. Really well marked and put together event. Could have been 15-20km longer, only 37km total ride. The only thing I didn't like is they made everyone wait to start the...

honda fourtrax or fourman 4-6in lift kit

The issue is because they are solid rear axle machines, so to put a huge lift in you have to extend the swing arm and drive shaft, or completely convert the suspension to IRS. Turner ATV in Houston has a kit for the Rubicon I've looked into it and they want between $2500 and 3g's for the kit...

    Alder Flats

Depends your riding style and what trail you pick. I ride a Honda Rubicon fairly well equiped for mud but not huge tires, and had very little trouble over the weekend and the trails are the wettest I've seen in recent years. My father inlaw has a 500 Foreman with bear claw tires and I only had...

    2008 Pooopoo sportsman 500ho

My father inlaw had the same issue on his 500ho. Apparently there are two temp sensors and it was the one you can't see that was giving the problem. I believe it's in or around the rad somewhere. The one on the engine that was fairly easy to access wasn't the problem.

    Honda pioneer 700-4 sxs

I like the looks of the unit, and the idea, I just wish they would put a transmission with a high/low option rather then the 3 speed honda civic tranny. They're moving in the right direction, just not fast enough. I've been a loyal Honda rider for the past 15-20 years, and first when I saw this...

    Ok Honda Guys/Gals....

I have an '06 Ruby with 2600km on it. 2" lift (highlifter), highlifter lift springs (another 1" of lift) clutch kit, mud buster cam, pipe, jetted, etc, etc. I run 26" MudZillas which are very aggressive and heavy and no issues turning them. I think the muffinman should not comment on something...

ATV service in Edmonton area - any recommendations?

I use Death Wobble Rentals in Leduc. Their prices are very fair and they take the time to go over everything with you and show you what they've done and if you have time what they're doing.

    01 Rubicon grinding?

mine used to do this in reverse. Turned out to be just a bunch of mud and dirt caked up on the shift linkage. Cleaned it up no issues since.

    doubling up

Depends where you live. I know back home in Newfoundland is is illegal to ride with a passenger and the penalties are hefty for doing so. I would check with local authorities. Here in Alberta there's no law against it, but that doesn't mean it's fine in Manitoba, better to check and be sure.

Edson ATV Club Poker Rally - July 16, 2011

I would think you should be fine, might be the odd tight spot but for the most part I remember the trails to be fairly open.

Edson ATV Club Poker Rally - July 16, 2011

Hey just wondering if anyone knows if the is a bypass for the large hill you have to go down about three quarters through the rally. I don't mind it but my father inlaw is thinking about comming out but he is fairly new to quading and isn't a big hill fan so he is worried if he comes he won't...
