Whats a 1942 Harley WLA worth

So it runs, and has a title? 12k still seems steep even with those two as a yes. It's fairly clean, but the serial number 12345 is a really off chance. Numbers should be 42wl#### if i recall correctly.

    Well. It happened.

Well gents, I finally got this thing home yesterday. It sat for a month or two after I finished for some silly reason. Now its on. So far, I've got to say, it's way too much fun. Still doing the break in thing so I haven't laid into it yet. That being said, this thing makes power. Lots of it. I...

    Best rib recipes?

Well, here's the spot to ask. We've got a rib cook off coming up and haven't really considered a new recipe. We have access to a good BBQ but not a smoker. Any ideas on making killer ribs? Either a dry rub or saucy mega rib, just the most killer ribs ever. Thanks in advance eh!

    Well. It happened.

I'll run bags when I've got a bigger trip to do, but for the average day, nah. I'll leave it bare. Scooted around the parking lot today a bit. Needs some dialing in, did a few heat cycles. Now I realize I've gotta insure the damn thing, and BC doesn't make this a cheap option. Oh well, it's...

Done. Front brakes didn't bleed properly. But I've put everything back on. Started the break in yesterday. Heat cycles first. Then I'll be riding. So pumped.

    180 tire on 08 Streetbob?

Some thoughts. Pulling the rear tire, Your exhaust may not allow the axle to get passed, if true, there are two options. Pull exhaust, or unhook the shocks from the swingarm. Remove the bottom bolts from the shock eyelets then lower the wheel and swingarm to pull said axle. Don't change the...

    21'' Front on a Softail

When you button things back up, make sure you tighten the nut on the left hand side before the pinch bolts. If you tighten the pinch bolts first, the axle won't clear all the way through and it will close up the legs, which will cause your suspension to not work anymore. Pull your calipers...

March 11/13 - is it to early to ride street bikes??

Really good advice. Someone not seeing you is a quick way to a bad spot. When it's good, it's good, when its bad... Well.... That being said, I've rode into work every day for the last couple weeks on the old shovelhead. Some cold mornings, even below freezing, but I'll suffer a morning to have...

    Well. It happened.

Got the oil lines plumbed in. Was bleeding the system but the battery was too dead. Should be running early next week but it looks an awful lot like a motorcycle right now. Likely going to need a high torque starter. This motor is a beast to turn over. Even with compression releases. It fired...
