You should be running an O2 sensor on that thing, all boost 4stroke should. If it doesn't have one my advice is get one.
O2 sensor will answer everything you need to know about your compression ratio and engine burn.
If your running too high of compression your reading will be high, if an...
You may want to check your fuel pump pressure. Vipers need 45psi to operate trouble free. This is especially true on a boost model.
Low fuel pump pressure can cause vapor lock. If it was my sled, I would just replace it and be done, easy inexpensive.
As for the cooling system, yes as mention the...
Looking for exactly that to fit a Sidewinder, will pay good coin for one as long its reasonable.
If you have and willing to part, let me know, thankyou.
Ya, well you wait with all this electronic if you don't start seeing in in your car and trucks soon.
Wife
"hey hun let's take the kids for a drive and go to DQ"
Husband
"sorry dear, but its the car day off, its in Sabbath mode for the day"
o_O
The other day picked up a new fridge the old one was starting to fail.
So, with all the gadgets and bells and whistles with electronics, since when has religion gone into appliances settings, like WTF.
In setting up the fridge, one of the set up feature is "Sabbath Mode"
WTH, what does...
I believe it is fixed and up dates are on going as the issue arises on the older units.
The bolt breakage is caused by a bad spider. The original spider was "BILLET" aluminum, the new updated spider is "FORGED" which is a lot tougher. The bolt is essentially the same but a new protective coating...
Wonder if they treat their girlfriends the same way they treat their sleds, each to their own but they deserve what they get.
Hard to fault any sled for stupidity.
I've seen plenty of 9R's out there this year. Have yet to see a broken one, don't know what the fuss is other then overblown S&M internet propaganda. Overall its a (y) sled.
Been riding like a pussy this season, so no clutch or spark plug issues. But the 9R beat me up the first couple rides in by hurting my hamstring.
Riding like a pussy may be hazardous.
I may have to man up back on the Winder.
It actually was, I couldn't believe it myself.
I asked just for the basic factory one year and the sale manager said he can do that but I would pay the asking price of $17995.00, this included Polaris factory discounted price at the time.
But if I took the extra warranty provided by the dealer...
Warranty is good for those every time they touch a wrench things get cross threaded. My 9R is the first ever sled that came with extra warranty and it wasn't my idea.
The sales manager wasn't giving me the discount on just having one year factory so ended up with the extra for the better deal...
Call it what ever, they are still kings out there.
Got a customer just purchased a 2019 SW with 900km on it. He's currently on a 2022 turbo Doo LOL.
Paid 10k and we are going to redo it, his budget is the price of a new replacement sled for himself he tells me.
Parts are all ordered, once done...
Yes I heard the same. Problem is the snow exposed to such heat and sun once cold enough to snow will turn into concrete. It would need to dump 2ft to make it decent and then avy risk goes even higher.
