I agree with crashidy, pretty much any of those in 750-999 in the link would be a better choice. Any of these are going to be a massive improvement over the Canadian tire bikes you're used to. I couldn't believe how much better and more enjoyable biking was when I went from a supercycle to a...
I've been happy running older Impala's for the last 7 years. I put around 150k on the first one with minimal maintenance. I sold it with 320k as I found a good deal on another 2006 from an elderly guy who was the original owner, with only 100k on it. I regularly see these cars for sale with the...
I haven't had any issues wheeling the sled around the shop with it, as long as I keep it low to the ground. I wouldn't want to pull it around too far with it extended. It's certainly nice doing some clutch work or chaincase maintenance when its 3 feet in the air and I'm sitting on the shop stool.
I built these little extensions with some 1x1 steel tubing. Made a little 3x4 pad and riveted a chunk of rubber on where it contacts the running boards. Been using it like this for probably close to 10 years and sled is level and stable
I think the first generation 3.6L in the 07-09 acadia's were bad for timing chains..our 2016 was the 3rd generation of the 3.6 and it was good for us (only had 180k on it though when we traded). Wife's '23 traverse is another generation of the 3.6L so hopefully it'll be trouble free like her...
wife ran a 2016 Acadia since new and we never had any issues in the 180k we drove it. Had to do brakes, struts, and oil changes. She went with a new Traverse that we've had for just over a year now and its been great as well. Their 3.6L v6 is much better on fuel than historically now paired with...
more recent pic of my favorites. the Tiger and 77 Jag got complete hood and decal restorations last winter. Cracks filled, painted, brand new decals. The 75 Jag is all original and is a very nice survivor
ordered a chev SUV for the wife back in April and still haven't gotten it yet. I've been told it might actually be here this month. I'm more concerned whether it will have any of the options/micro chips it's supposed to have. I don't think the wife will want to trade her current vehicle in if...
kimpex prices are out to lunch. Can find those BFG's for almost half the price elsewhere. Just a quick look and Fortnine has 28's for example for 278 vs kimpex at 462
My wife and I have debated on whether we still do a ~2500km round trip with our rv trailer to camp around Canmore/Banff in July. We cancelled last year due to all the Covid inconveniences. We're still planning on going despite the brutal diesel prices. I don't think its going to be any cheaper...
