Ya this isn’t one of them. Someone put a Polaris front ifs on this 78 blizzard to make it look like the cross country sleds that Gerard had built. Still a cool look sled and should be a blast to ride. It’s got a 583 for power lol. Thanks for the replies.
I’m working on this blizzard right now and I think it’s one of the 12 rare ski doo blizzards with front ifs. Any pics of this sled would be helpful to help me figure out if this is one of those sleds.
im thinking of going to vailmount Tuesday as well.my crew bailed so I'm looking for someone to meet up with for a couple days.let me know if your still going on Monday.call or text me at 250-263-1971 thanks.
not enough of a change to buy a new 850.for 6000 you can turbo your axys and blow the doors off the 850 and you saved 10,000 and don't have to worry about the bugs the new motor is going to have.kinda disappointing for me.
I have a brand new set of crank shop mountain pipes for an 809.text or call me at 250-263-1971.i not on here very much so that's the best way to get a hold of me.
New to dumbass racing a 72 Polaris star fire factory racer, powered by a 500cc free air tripple, factory tripple pipes and carbs. Any body with any knowledge of These old rockets please coment.
my cat is to heavy waaaaaaaaaa,my doo is to heavy waaaaaaaaaaa,my poo is to heavy waaaaaaaaaaa.you guys have no idea what a heavy sled is.i ride the biggest heaviest bitch ever made ,and I still never see any of thease light weight miricals of the snowmobile industry in steep and deep.what a joke.
its been done many times in the early 90s. its a long ride and fuel is the big problem.late spring is the time to attempt this as fuel lasts the longest.the closer you get to the renshaw is where it gets really tough.
