I happened to look down at my running board and noticed my toe loop was dangling and flopping. This was early on the second day of riding the new 2022 RMK, roughly 105km on the odometer.

Looking at the part now that it's in my hand, it's pretty dang flimsy.

I rode the rest of the day with only one toe loop, and it turns out I don't use the loops on this sled. On my previous Polaris RMKs I did use them in certain situations.

I was looking at them today at the dealers, they do look pretty light… I cut them off of my Axys after breaking my ankle on them a couple years ago. Guess just have to kick these ones off :)

They sure do appear to be. I know of several removed though, my sons included and he’s a big guy, 260 dressed, he’s riding a 2018 on boost and beats on it.
Have cut them off all 8 of ours -13/15/16/18. Unless you have really small feet the toe loops are an accident waiting to happen ...

anyone having fuel pump issues? asking for a friend
I'm hearing a fan-like noise from my sled when I start it sometimes. I'm thinking it's either the fuel pump, or perhaps Polaris added some kind of fan to the sled that I'm not aware of.

Agree. My feet are not big but my new sled boots would lock in under the toe hook like a Lego block..

If its coming from the righthand side then it's the pump. My buddies sled was fine at low and mid range but at high range the warning lights came on and it had big issues. A new pump was ordered and will take about a week or so to come in. With the deep freeze coming he won't be missing and riding days

toss half a liter of injection oil in your fuel tank, the oil may lube it enough to keep it working.

I have the fan noise too. 22 Pro RMK Na.
I guessing it's the fuel pump.
It's going into the dealership for repair asap.

Let us know how you make out.
Did it ever throw a code related to fuel, fuel pressure, or the like? I'm thinking it'll be tough to get a new fuel pump when there are no codes, the sound might not be enough. And if the sound doesn't happen to a cold sled, it might even be hard to get it to be noisy for the dealer.

good luck even getting a fuel pump. Lots of the 22's are going down with fuel pump issues and now the pumps are on backorder

Seen a few fixes are just the regulator coming unclipped or loose, pumps not the main issue over on Snowest.

This machine had issues from the start. Drove to Chappell and proceeded 2 miles up the trail low fuel voltage on display no code. Changed plugs started then died.
I called a couple Polaris dealers and a fella in Edson told me to check the wiring harness on the left front. I checked the plugs and 1 wasn't fully seated. It clicked into place and boom it fired up. I've attached a photo of the harness. It cost me a day of riding with my kid. My Doo friends enjoyed the fact I towed it down with a 15 summit. I hope it helps someone else or an entire trip.
Yesterday the buzzing became constant and it through a low fuel pressure on the disay and bog on a couple big pulls to get out of a riding area.
Still no code but but buzz like an electric fan. I'll keep you posted.
