Speaking of septic...
My addition on the back of the house [wife had it built with first husband in '88 '89] was built over the septic tank.
Footings are to high tips up two inches over twenty five feet.
Eighteen inches off the ground, septic guy has to combat crawl under to pump out.
Someone got paid off in the permit office to let this happen.

Sorry but i do not believe that i have installed lots concrete and still consider them a better tank in all aspects personally but they are far and few between now.. Every single tank i have replaced has been a fiberglass tank with varying problems from the tops caving in, to them disinigrating and not meeting code anymore and not far from collapse. Even after digging them completely out could not use the lifting rings as they would break or pull right out of the tank.. I still keep in contact with the local septic guys and non of them ever use fiberglass and you cannot even find fiberglass anywhere around here

Pretty sure everything has gone polly now. Fiberglass was used lots as underground fuel tanks. They are tearing up one of the cardlocks in town, not sure how long those tanks have been in there but it's been at least 30+ years. Was surprised to see the were Fiberglass. Given the option, go with the polly/plastic

Called 10 companies in an expanding radius, 1 said no, can't fit it in. 6 haven't bothered to call me back, 2 promised to come to site and look but never showed up. Last one said they might be able to fit it in but aren't sure. Think I'm in the wrong trade, screw gas compression, I'm gonna take a two week course and buy a hoe.

Yeh this time of year sucks as the push is on to get things wrapped up before freeze up !
Still ? Just be honest with people as how hard is it to say I am too busy ?!!!
I'm surprised it's that busy there. There is good money in septics, way more then digging basements. Having said that, it's a lot harder business then it looks and many have tried and lost a lot of money in the dirt business.

go rent an small hoe they are cheap, grab some infiltrator and dig and bury as you go. Not a big job at all.

Infiltrators seem hard to come by also, AWS says 145 days out.

Screened 3/4'' gravel and pipe way better way to do it, chances are if your inground sytem is not working a mound is your next step, or treatment plant if you have bush or trees close.

.And he probably does not have the ends for it as well, but 3 foot wide wholly crap 1 length of that would have more drainage than 50 foot of that rotten perforated pipe that alway plug up.
