Ratchet hold down hood. Had similar issue with old Jeep of mine. Driving #16 (back when it was single lane), oncoming semi just passed me. The turbulence from the truck ripped hinges, off my Jeep hood. The hood popped straight up, crushed my windshield into million pieces. Also damaged my radiator. Needed ratchet strap to limp the Jeep to the shop.
