Thanks for everybody's input. So, my wife ended up getting me a gas powered 20" Husqvarna for Fathers day. It did fine strapped to the front rack of my kids Grizzly. It worked great when needed as I had to cut two trees that were down on the first two trails I rode on this summer. So, all good!!

Just curious, how was the Pembina River Road in early April?

I would also love to have a map that is not for a GPS. Or even just a verbal description of where this is. I ride that trail a few times a summer and have yet to find the caboose and other buildings.

I think I need to get a chainsaw for the trails this summer. Last year, two of favorite trails had very large impassable trees blocking the trails. I have ridden this rail line many times and cannot find the caboose and school house. I have been told to look for an old pair of rain pants hanging from a tree but have not found that either. Can anyone tell me where to stop on the trail to find the school house? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the feedback Ryeser. I rode Southesk on June 4. It was great. Lots of great scenery, fairly easy trail with the odd little tester mud hole and a couple of challenging hills. I was surprised though at how dry it was for early June.
