Yea we do pay taxes but i dont think they go towards clearing the roads thats for sure.....I have noticed that they are terrible as of late and not a lot being done about it either.....very frustrating and not to mention dangerous.....hopefully they will get better soon......So where do you stay...

Hey there.....we are about 4.5-5 hours from edmonton and about 2 hours from hinton.......Its going to be tough to find a hotel or place to stay close to hinton where you can ride from the place you stay because its too close to the national park......For the extra 2 hours of a drive we have...

Just a bit of advice.........We have a very secure large parking lot here so if you are coming to Valemount this year and stay with us you wouldnt have to worry about locking anything up at night......unlike the motels we actually care about our customers belongings and have precautions set up...

As a resident and a business owner in Valemount I will take the time to appologize for that kind of crap that goes on here.......its discusting and really gives us a bad name......I really hope the sledders dont stop coming here because of this incident because we really enjoy having them here...
