Lots of people use dual 6's for longevity. However my fear has always been if you drop a battery you have nothing. My trailer has 12 volt stabilization jacks, 12 volt slide motor, 12 volt tongue jack. If for some reason you lose a 6v battery and don't have a generator with you you may be stuck...
