Those pins are for mounting the arms with the bolts on each side. The ramp pins are totally different, their a hollow split pin last I checked.

How long of minutes does it take till it says it over heats? Have you air purged the cooling system? Most likely the Tstat is stuck or the water pump is done.

What elevation are you doing the compression test at?

The only time I had something like that happen on my c3 belt drive was cause my drive axle was bent.

I’ve more than a few p teks, One went 5000km before it blew, another at around 8000km, another one made over 12,000km, and another made close to 14,000kms all mountain kms too. So it can’t be that bad of a motor.

Really don’t need a shorter cable, just push it so the slack is under the hood. Might have to loosen a clamp thou. Did the same on mine with no problems.

10years on my one sled with no taillight and never had a problem. But also I don’t ride in high traffic areas either.
