    Silver Mines 2018

Was nice on Saturday. None of the avy chutes have slid however so tread carefully. Saw a small slide, 1-2ft slab rider triggered by another crew.

    Camper Project

I have a Lugable Loo that I put inside when I need to use it. Indoor plumbing at it's finest! haha I haven't had to use my trailer below -15 yet so perhaps that's why I haven't had any condensation issues, or maybe the wood heat helps alleviate condensation!?

    Camper Project

Why thank you sir! I'm currently weighing my options but if I can secure a spot out in Revy for a few years I'll build an off the grid tiny home on a flat deck. I have a design sketched out and know I can do the shell for $1,000 complete with siding, windows and roofing thanks to a friend. I...

If the wood stove gets parted out it will be going into my next project, lol. If you are interested in a neat combo of flat deck trailer and camper I can sell you the set up, comes with a cool wood stove ;)

    Camper Project

I’d lower the stove, which I’m going to do. But other than that, nothing, it works amazingly well. I moved my drying hooks further away on the ceiling and my gear drys pretty darn quick. No moisture issues that I’ve found. shes for sale if you are interested. I have a new project in mind.

Can We Learn From Others Mistakes ???

Great thread. I'll share a close call I had with a group. Last winter I was in Revy for 10 days in February and one day found myself without anyone to ride with, so I joined up with a group of Sask guys that I had met before, but never ridden with. We hit boulder, it was a sunny day, the hill...

What do you carry that others may not have thought about?

Jet boil is great for this reason. Small and compact. Even if you weren't using it to heat up food or boil snow for water, it'd be a great heat source in a snow cave.

What do you carry that others may not have thought about?

That's the reason I carry an orange hand smoke signal. You can buy them at any marine store or can easily be ordered in.
