The aro’s steer on the heavy side. usually sliding your forks up in the clamps a 1/4” or so helps alot. also the skag on the first ARO platforms (18/19) came down too abruptly and plowed hard on hard pack. You have to take a zip cut and angle them back more gently.
Anyone have a spare ARO spindle they would be willing to part with? Hit a rock in 4th tapped, need a new spindle, and all aluminum hardware to bolt to the forks.
If I only rode in the mountains I would be happy with this setup. The spring rate is close perfect as far as handling go’s.
