My Outdoor Research glove are the best so far. No leather palm but totally waterproof and always warm. I like the removable liner you can wear on it's own or wear the shell on it's own if you need to take your gloves on and off when doing snowpack tests etc.
Every time I ride my rmk 900 I am either stressed out wondering what will break next or stressed out because I have to spend another $500 on fixing one more thing. Either way, riding an rmk 900 is taking the fun out of snowmobiling for me.

I got some motor fist glove for christmas. In my area I think they suck for any winter activity. They would be good for summer riding.
My hands where wet after 30 minutes and cold 20 minutes after that. What a waste.

I lost my low beam and my hand warmers. The high beam works.

Also wondering if anyone knows how to power up the system externally to prime the fuel pump ect.

I recently added an rmk 900 to the trailer. I noticed that on the 800, when I'm going down hills or slowing down from speed, the clutch stays engaged and helps with killing some speed like in a manual car..To be clear- The 800 had been modified and I changed the spring to a softer engagement so...
The new guy's two cents !! I own two of them, both modified. I would check which jets are in it. I bought one 01 rmk 800, the guy twin piped it and pulled the baffles out of the airbox but didn't change the jets ! after I rebuilt it, I went from a 370 jet to a 430 (safe side) and so far so good !!
As long as you don't mess with the mixture screws or count how many turns out they are before removing them, you shouldn't mess up the settings.
I've found that it doesn't take much water in the carbs to really mess them up....
