I believe it is fixed and up dates are on going as the issue arises on the older units. The bolt breakage is caused by a bad spider. The original spider was "BILLET" aluminum, the new updated spider is "FORGED" which is a lot tougher. The bolt is essentially the same but a new protective coating...

Wonder if they treat their girlfriends the same way they treat their sleds, each to their own but they deserve what they get. Hard to fault any sled for stupidity.

I've seen plenty of 9R's out there this year. Have yet to see a broken one, don't know what the fuss is other then overblown S&M internet propaganda. Overall its a (y) sled.

Racked up over 600kms on the 9R, zero issues. If it wasn't for the Sidewinder, it would be an excellent choice to turbo or just have as a second.

Doing my last rides starting tomorrow and over the weekend, depending on conditions it may be cut short. Conditions are changing daily right now.

Basically 16k plus all the dealer BS, 3yr extra warranty included.

Been riding like a pussy this season, so no clutch or spark plug issues. But the 9R beat me up the first couple rides in by hurting my hamstring. Riding like a pussy may be hazardous. I may have to man up back on the Winder.

Maybe discount is the wrong wording, it was a rebate being offered or purchase incentive. $1000.00 off.

It actually was, I couldn't believe it myself. I asked just for the basic factory one year and the sale manager said he can do that but I would pay the asking price of $17995.00, this included Polaris factory discounted price at the time. But if I took the extra warranty provided by the dealer...

I really think the Poo dealer I dealt with was trying to make up for lost sales. $17995 for factory only warranty or $15995 for the 3 extra years. LOL

Warranty is good for those every time they touch a wrench things get cross threaded. My 9R is the first ever sled that came with extra warranty and it wasn't my idea. The sales manager wasn't giving me the discount on just having one year factory so ended up with the extra for the better deal...
