I've got a 2 place covered trailer and a crew cab long box truck, so potentially 2 additional riders could join. I'm planning on leaving from Sherwood Park around noon on Friday and sledding the day Saturday and Sunday. Come back on Sunday after riding. Share a room in Valemount.

We rode Chapel yesterday in about a foot of fresh powder. You could play pretty much anywhere and have a fresh line for yourself to ride. The sun broke through for the afternoon and made for a great day of riding. It...
I checked the weather cams from the Alberta/BC border to Blue River last night. Snow, snow, snow and some road closures for snow clearing. The roads are going to be dangerous for the next few days at least. Slow down and stay safe!
Rode Allen Creek on Saturday and Sunday. The trail up was still decent, but getting thin in a few places. Next weekend may be the last of the season for grooming. The snow on the far end (after Avalanche Alley) was great with a lot of untouched areas.
A shout out to Amanda for her epic sled...
I'm looking for someone to ride Valemount area as well this weekend. I usually leave around noon on Thursday and ride Friday, Saturday and Sunday and drive back at the end of the day Sunday. It will be my first time in Valemount area (I've done McBride and Revelstoke), so somebody who knows the...
Not really. It was still smoking after we pushed snow on it and put out the fire, so we couldn't get a good look at it. For some strange reason the handlebars had been cut off just outside the mounting points.
We rode Frisby on Friday and it was the best day of the weekend. A bit cloudy, but we chased sun dogs up top around dildo most of the day and the snow was excellent. Not deep powder, but deep enough and fresh enough you could do whatever you wanted without too much effort.
Saturday was foggy...
We managed to get a room at Glacier for tonight, but no luck for the rest of the weekend. One of the members has offered us the use of their basement rooms for Friday and Saturday evening. What a great group of people we have here!!
A friend and I are seriously considering a trip to Revelstoke from February 17-20. We've been to McBride area plenty, but this will be our first time to the Revelstoke area. We're looking for a place to stay with the following criteria and I'm hoping you folks can chime in with some advice that...
Plenty of people up in Renshaw yesterday, the staging area was fairly full. The trail had been groomed that morning (spoke with Rod at the trailhead) and was great all the way up. The wind at the staging area was absolutely brutal, but once in the trees it wasn't bad. It was quite wind swept up...
