well i have 13" of clearance with the mud tires on. thats more than most 4x4s lol. its ok in mud, just gotta keep the front end up. it handles awesome over rocks/rivers, doesnt rip your arms off like alot of quads when you fetch up on a branch or a rock. it pretty much eats anything that...
the 700xx will outrun an outlaw, theres not much difference between the two, other than honda is known for reliability and tough machines.
its 40 lbs heavier than a raptor.. really not the big of a deal, especially when i weigh 200lbs already.
i drive my 700xx everywhere from highways to snowy...
i bought a 2008 honda trx00XX. it is amazing on the trails. im usually waiting on 4x4s to catch up. cant stop the thing with decent tires and lots of clearance. you've got enough power to get through anything. i'd recommend the 700xx in a second.
as of this evening, its around -2 and a little windy, but looks like good riding. some parts of swan hills got 6 inches of snow yesterday. there's been a fair bit down in the past couple weeks. was warm for the first part of this week and now its getting cool again. should be good riding.
yeah when i saw the wind saturday morning i was thinking about how a few people said they were coming up this way. looked pretty shitty out.
this morning its -40 with the windchill... at least you caught a half-warm day lol!
trikes aren't any moer dangerous than quads. i learned to ride on trikes. you can wipe out on any machine if you don't know what your doing. you just cant drive a trike quite the same way as you drive a quad. they arent any less safe than anything else.
yesterday, today and supposedly tomorrow.. snowing and cold as hell. supposed to warm up a bit by the weekend though.
we've got a few inches in the last 2 days
