    Pine pass snow condition 2017/2018

There are multiple areas to ride in the Pass. Hasler, bijoux falls, Beaver Creek, Callazon, silver sands. Check out the Pine Valley Trail Blazers club. They just got some groomers and need donations to keep them going.

    850 tracks

It would be great if we can get some actual numbers of the 850 track failures, (track size, km's, year, sled model). We need actual numbers for BRP and Camso to listen, otherwise they say there is no problem and it is just a few complainers trying to get free stuff. My track started losing lugs...

    850 tracks

Maybe it is time for BRP to do some quality control on their vendors. My 20 expert 165 is all cracked up and upon closer inspection the rubber around the lugs are no thicker then 1mm thick and there is no reinforcement on the lugs to hold them to the corded ply. Imagine building a tower and not...

    Heated Goggles

Tried the Abom and battery lasted about an hour- it was -15 outside, they didn't fit well as they are very rigid. Also note that the battery is in the lens, so cannot swap batteries and battery size is very small. They would be fine if you don't sweat much and are a fair weather sledder. Ended...

NE BC riding vs blue river/mcbride?

Don't quote me on this, but I read someplace snowfall in Kakwa is 10-15' depending on elevation, nowhere near Revy but nowhere near the people also. Very similar to McBride as the south part of Kakwa is only 15 miles from Northern part of Renshaw.

NE BC riding vs blue river/mcbride?

Good snow in Powder King and Kakwa and sometimes in Tumbler ridge. I have had 3'+ days in all locations last year. Great thing about all these places is you can usually ride all day and not come across another group. Here is a video in Kakwa last year. Kakwa is a long groomed trail in but...

Muteki trail hog- anyone running these?

Been running the trail hogs for about 30000km so far and find they are very noisy on highway, but good traction in the mud and snow. I had to get one replaced due to a broken bead, Kal tire had a couple come in with same broken bead.

    Help please 2014 xm

Had the exact same thing. The codes that came up at the dealer was a mag short to ground. They replaced the coil and I got them to put new in plugs in also. Also found a kink in the 1/4" air hose from the airbox to the computer. This was making it run rough altitude we think.

    How many RT 1000s left?

Just hit 7000 km on mine, 05 rt 163 with air pods, thermostat from 800r, 07 mapping and a new crank at 4800 km. Love the power, but time to get something newer as we spend a lot more time in technical climbs through the trees and creeks. Still can out climb most but when you get stuck in...

    Chopper Rescuing

As a manager of a helicopter company we always bill somebody when we fly. A SAR flight is usually dispatched by the RCMP and that is who we bill. Sled rescues are always billed to the person who calls it in, (credit card or cash before we fly) or if it is a write off the insurance company pays...

    Rubicon Drop, Check parking brake

We pulled this honda off a mountain the other day for the insurance company. It dropped 1200 feet down a combination of 80 and 50 degree slope. Nobody was on it thankfully as they were taking pictures from the top of the mountain.
