    OK no worries, Norm & I will bring the potatos & carrots, and big generator. Albert did tell me we can put the turkey on at their house if you can bring that electric roaster, that way if we want to go on a ride and not worry about the turkey/generator we can..... either way we'll still bring the big generator and all should be GTG.

    If I could get Norm & Coralee, Murray & Wes to bring what is left...that would be great! Please confirm ASAP so we don't end up with too much of 1 thing & nothing of an other...if you know what I mean.

    Plan is to use our trailer for the big table to put everything on so we won't need tables. I'll ensure I have table cloths to cover the trailer. Thinking everyone can handle their own dishes...unless someone want to offer bringing some decent paper plates.

    If I have missed anything...let me know!

    Tyler & I have a concert to go to Oct 9 & Harvey has a game to go to...so the 3 of us will be pretty late getting to the site but Chris will be taking off around dinner time to get up there & set up.



    By the way Norm...my sister is not coming...LOSER...LOL...so you don't have to worry getting motorhome ready...thanks for the offer though!!

    Guess my message is too long!!

    This is what we have confirmed so far:

    1) Norm's acreage is still the destination
    2) Turkey roaster is covered...big generator may be in order to keep the roaster working all day
    3) Menu items covered so far are:
    - Turkey & dressing (Cathy)
    - Buns & a dessert (Faye)
    - Sweet potato/marshmellow dish, pumpkin pie & gravy (Robinsons)
    - Coleslaw (Greg & Doreen)

    So...what is needed still is at least 2 more vegetables (mashed potatoes & carrots) & a huge tossed salad with dressings on the side, a ham would be nice if we run out of turkey

    To my knowledge Ken & Joanne are not planning on coming...they have already winterized their trailer. Sounds like Travis is not coming either.

    K...finally getting my ch!t together...sorry guys but life have given me a few sucker punches & just trying to get through it all...if I ever can!! LOL LOL

    Anyways...Thanksgiving weekend!! Seems we may end up with a much smaller group than anticipated so here's hoping we can cover everything we need.

    Power is ordered but they haven't come to put up the pole yet.... there's a chance it might be in by then, but no guarantees. We can bring our big generator if needed, and I think we have a turkey fryer thing we can borrow from Norm's dad if needed.
    Cathy says that Selena has the menu - I think they are planning who brings what?

    did you get the power ran into the lot??we now need to decide who is bringing what..we are looking forward to it..i will call wes today..keep in touch.

    Yes the chinese wonder is now fixed, after a whole lot of headaches etc, not to mention me causing a major commotion on another quadding forum about chinese "JUNK"... nice.
    If you can talk to the people on your end (Wes etc), I'll talk to Cathy and we'll get a plan together ! Snow or Mud, either way it should be a good time!

    Turns out a simple campfire is ok, it is just a fire advisory that the county has on, so we're GTG with the campfire Sorry for the panic.... (Cat might want to tone down her firebuiding capabilty though- LOL) :)

    Sounds good for Chump - we'll be cruisin' out there Fri night, after Norm gets off work. I called Cat tonight and she was just heading out there, Chris & Selena are still there. Sounds like we might get some rain so bring your rain gear - LOL! Just means more mud for Norm to get stuck in !!

    Hi.... lucky Wes & Cheryl! We've been off work all week, building a damned fence #$!%...... I do think we need a break.
    Chris & Selena are heading here tonight, I think we're supposed to be going fishing at Pinehurst Lake tomorrow. Are you guys heading to Chump tonight? Maybe we'll have to meet you out there late tomorrow or even Sunday. I'll talk to Norm, get him to give you a call.......

    We're still debating where to go for the Aug long weekend - might do the family thing up in Cold Lake, but pretty much any weekend after that we're GTG. Either messge us or give us a call.

    PS- got the picture CD's from Cathy of Ruby Falls - nice pics! I'll get mine on disc and give it to you guys next time we see you

    Sounds great - I just talked to Cat on the phone and we both plan to leave LLB around 6:00 pm or so tomorrow (Thurs) night. We can't wait!!!!!!!!!!
