I have a 12 M1100T, and have upgraded it with the A/C narrowing kit. I also added Powder Pro skis, and let out the limiter strap. I like the feel of a lighter front end and in combination makes the machine totally more maneuverable.
Get the ECU re-flashed to 215Hp and it is great!
Ok, so it was a cracked reservoir. Poor plastic weld on the backside that you cannot see from the exhaust side of the sled. Several have been seen breaking after 800km.
Looked like it was coming from the bottom of the reservoir. I'll let you know after it goes to the shop. How do you refill the reservoir anyway? Looks like you have to take ff he whole front plastic. Can't see if there is any fluid or not.
Went out to Reve this weekend- cold -15c. We got 10 km up the trail before anti freeze puked all over. Called around and find out now that it is common for the reservoir to crack after about 1200 km. Damn. I'll find out soon if mine has this issue, but sure looks to be the culprit.
Here's what I have got going, and ready for the first ride of the year: New Cat Secondary, EVO 215 flash, cutler gold primary spring, cutler adjustable weights, MBRP Can, plus other stuff cant remember all the rest.!
The setup Hougie suggests would be for trail riding to keep front end on ground. On my 2012 M1100T - let out the limiter strap as far as possible - this lightens the front end. Then for side hilling put less air in front shocks, this is really rider preference trial and error. The less air the...
Am I seeing things? Or does the Yamaha Viper look like an Arctic Cat? Wide A-Arms, Same Vents on Hoods as M1100T, Same handlebars. Anybody else see the resemblance?
I installed Powder Pros and my 2012 M1100T. I got the narrowing kit -arms as well. I think they are going to be much better. Oe thing I have noted on the hard pack is that the Powder Pros have a very high final flange and a deep keel. The deep keel allows the sled to fall over more aeasily and...
Hey there. I put two Skidoo Linq's on my M1100T. We got 2 peices of aluminum, 16 inches by 4 inches. Drilled the Linq attachment holes 15 3/8 on the aluminum pieces. Then we fastened the aluminum to the tunnel with 6 rivets, 3 on each end. We had some pieces of rubber and put them between the...
