Boondocker has for years with EBC(electronic boost control) and ADA(air density advantage) with our turbo built engines( Lindermann ported and cut heads) we could set the boost level at 10 psi here at the shop as the rider goes up in elevation the box automatically brings the boost level up to...
Now if we could just get one of the Big 4 on board with a new direct injected I dunno say 1200 cc 2 stroke triple then we'd have something ;)

Straightline Performance. Basically took what they had as a kit, our knowledge of what worked in the past with brp's product, tested, tuned, made some significant changes and now have our own kit using spi components.

Heres the adjustable fly weights we are using in our clutch kit. Weight can be placed at the heel, centre and tip of the weight which covers tuning everything from stock naturally aspirated sleds, to big bores, to turbos. Ramp profile is also significantly changed from stock and will have a huge...
Yep that is the brp sloppy engine mount fix for 2018, a shim kit. Ironically enough of all the 850's through my shop not all have this "wobbly clutch" issue. However they all have the sloppy engine mount issue, which is easily fixed, then you can begin tuning the clutches.

Near impossible to keep a belt on anything when your shaft centre to centre distance is constantly changing, no matter what clutches are on the machine.

No I made some very simple shim kits ranging from .060"-.090" to take out the excess clearance between the rubber mount and the aluminum casting. This way the engine is at least tight before your on the throttle. The way they are stock the engine moves that .060"-.090" before the rubber is even...
Bnorth nailed it. Low gearing= Band aid for poor clutching. Problem is the gearing is already so low its IMO the root cause of alot of belt blowing problems. Or the fact the front engine mount flops around like a fish out of water. Either way we made fixy fixy lol.

I have found its more often the regulator bypassing than it is the pump failing itself. Its a matter of why and then fixing the source of the problem, not putting a band aid on it only to have it fail again. I have all the brp tools here to accurately diagnose fuel pressure.

We do a Ton of ski doo work, 2 items I check here before anything else gets touched are fuel pressure to ensure pump, regulator and injectors are functioning properly and carbon build up in the y pipes. Fuel pressure is probably the most over looked and problematic area on an etec.
