Doing an XMR conversion on my renegade and just wanted to take a little poll on what everyone else thinks and is doing. Should I go bellows or just make sure vent tubes are high enough and clean?
But..... made up for it today. Set ride height on wifes quad with her new shocks. Finished new bushings on mine... set ride height... and new front brakes. Almost caught up on maintenance. lol
Have a friend looking to upgrade tires on a 700 efi 2 up Cat. Leaning towards swamplites. What size do you recommend? Will he lose too much with 27s? 26,s better choice?????
Love my renegade without dps.................... for what was stated you have to drive a renegade not ride. Nothing like doing a wheelie right through a hole and after a day out in the mud and trail you feel it. Have both a renegade and a max xt and the max is for grandpa,( j/k Right...
Went with the Outlaw DHT's front and back. Fronts are way beefier than stock, backs don't look all that different, boots look tougher. Working well so far except a few problems with boot seals.
Actually had it checked out.................my bad... locked up tight in 4x4 always has play in 2 wheel drive. Tranny oil every 50 hrs here. Maintenance at half of warranty intervals. Pay a little extra to keep it up.
one for maybe tranny.............thanks!!! Kind of new to this quad thing if it was a vehicle could track it right down. Rear drveshaft is tight as as new thinking it would slip both ways if tranny was starting to go out? And I did put the silverbacks on just to drive to church on Sundays......lol
Was just checking my renegade after a ride and there is 1/3 to 1/2 an inch of play on the through shaft. (clockwise-counter clockwise) Was wondering is that normal??? Wife's is a gen1 (front driveshaft) so nothing to compare to.
Just killing myself reading this thread..................... been hooked for a couple of years now. Nothing cuts the dust....or mud like a twisted tea. Any body know where I an get a sticker..." powered by.....twisted tea" lol
