Here's a chicken story update:
4 roosters were too many, they actually killed a hen.. so we only have one rooster left.. Big Daddy.. he's kind to the hens and loves the kids. He likes to be cradled and rocked to sleep... true story... I looked over at the couch and realized my daughter had a rooster in her arms... had to enforce the "no chickens in the house" rule again....
