Wonder how many Invermere valley and East Kootenay residents are driving into Calgary and Lethbridge for their Costco and walmart runs. And also, if they need acute care, guess which big city hospitals they'll be going to. Stars flies into BC constantly. It goes both ways.
Also don't hate BC. Your politics are what gets me. I spend most weekends in the Kootenays but try to never buy anything. (Its killing me to not stop at fernie brewing!) Also, it's a little annoying hearing all the 'stupid or damn Albertan' comments from a small minority of locals who say...
I've had a yeti copy Driftsun 45 for a year now. It's 45 quart size is decent, though I wouldn't want any smaller. As others have said, precooling and using blocks of ice are key. If I do that I can easily get 5 plus days out of it in summer heat.
Anyone know why no news yet? Usually with an avalanche there's info a lot quicker than this. Nothing showing on avalanche.ca or anywhere. I can see why no names of victims until next of kin is notified.
644 lbs seems really low for the hitch weight of a 7300 lb fifth wheel. I thought hitch weight was supposed to be 15-20% of gross trailer weight? You sure hitch weight isn't 1644?
Just be careful. My RV is in my yard and I have solar. The problems occur when its really cold and snow. If the panel gets covered no charging can happen. I keep the trickle charger handy for this reason and try to get up with ladder to clear snow off the panel.
In southeast bc (Jaffray area)and just came upon a family in their 4 seat sxs coming down out of the forestry. I told him, politely, that there is a total ban. His idiotic response was , ' it just rained'. Hopefully his little kids now know that their dad doesn't care about rules and he has...
You bet. We always use them for spring rainbow fishing on koocanusa in Montana and the guy at kootenay lake said they use them too. I guess the rainbows feed on surface until later in season. Bulls were down low on downrigger though.
