Coming from Manitoba and thinking about heading out to the mountains for a week or two in Aug. Which area would you recomend? So far I've noticed that Elkford and Crowsnest pass area seem to have a lare trail system but I'm not sure of what else might be out there. I'm not really looking for...

Was out riding in the Whiteshell this weekend. Things are still pretty bumpy but the lakes are fine. Not a whole lot of snow yet (4 or 5 inches), smaller lakes have been frozen since Nov 11th. Usually have had good rigding around x-mas though. Here's a picture at one of our scenic lookouts.
