I did this exact procedure on my 09 M8. Improve the ride and eliminate sag and never have to worry about riding out on a flat float in your skid.

I'd be checking the reeds too. A couple of chipped corners can cause your problem and the HO reeds are known to chip easy. Pull em out and have a look.
