No need to worry lowlife from what I understand it there is just a couple bad race cans out there, trail cans should be ok. Ya the dealers sell for 359+gst and Deano sells them for 310+GST...go figure and who doesn't like supporting the little guy...none the less MBRP is still my choice, their...
Just a little FYI for you guys, mocked up my new MBRP race can and had some fitment issues. The choke sleeve on the end of the factory pipe was hitting the weld on the inside of the neck of the stinger before the flange would contact the donut seal on the pipe, didn't notice it at first but was...
Forgive me guys maybe this has been asked, this is my first Summit since 06 (had a M8T for the last 4years) so I'm just getting back into the game here. Are there any concerns that these GnR braces could cause damage to the E-module? I'm ok with A-arms bending but if the A-arms don't give what...
Looks awesome in the picture, great way to carry a SPARE shovel on your XM. If it is made out of UHMW it won't be cheap but it will be light, super strong, and very durable. Just ask the bottom of my riverboat!!
Thanks for the help guys. I want a good strong stock sled that works and I really want to stick with a cat...meanwhile everyone else is jumping on the XM wagon. Stojans in GP has 240 snow checked XMs (not a typo) and the front ends bend if you even look at a rock...so I would be just another...
Hmmm, 3 belts each in one day on 2 different sleds??? that's crazy. Maybe I should wait and see if the new gearing and clutches help...just looked at a 2013 163 this afternoon with 400km on it and his clutch guard is all bent up and rubbed on the primary, he blew a belt in the first 100km and...
Ok guys looking for some help here. Its time to retire the M8 and I'm hearing/reading all these horror stories about some of the 2012/2013 800's eating belts. I'm looking at a 2013 800 162 with 200km on it and its suppose to go in for a clutch update he tells me. Just looking for the dirty on...
No fluids unless you want to fill your crankcase with fluid X. Reeds only make a positive seal against the cages as the piston is traveling down. You have to pull them and inspect them. pull the hood and pipe off and the hardest part is getting your stock intake boot out of the front and a...
I'd be checking the reeds too. A couple of chipped corners can cause your problem and the HO reeds are known to chip easy. Pull em out and have a look.
