Been hearing alot about shortage's due to covid. Plumber's are having a horrible time getting 2" pvc pipe, electrican's having issue's with getting electrical house wire. I have to replace my hot water tank and almost every plumber I called said they will have to call their suppliers to see if they have any tanks left. It's a 40 gallon hotwater tank!! What other shortages have people heard of?

Brains and common sense. Both are extinct.

Yup, our plumber said the same thing. Starting to see in stores no stock of certain things.I've heard rumours that food is going to start getting short also, I don't care if I starve to death, as long as I don't catch covid. What a joke.
I will never starve to death.....shhh I know where the moose live. Lol

I will add there's no shortage of companies/industries etc using covid as an excuse for any possible item that is either going up in price or is in limited supply.
Funny how there seems to be supply for people willing to pay 300x or more normal cost for an item but shortages otherwise

Seeing same thing here. Suppliers only getting limited amounts of I joists and once they're gone they're gone.
Apparently a shortage of the epoxy/glue used to bond the osb, same reason sheathing is ridiculous now

Its unreal, 70 dollars for 7/16 osb, 100 for 3/4 standard plywood. Treated lumber is out of hand!

Paid $166 out the door, with taxes, for one sheet of 3/4” standard T&G plywood earlier this week.
