4 times zoom (erector) is a bit weak. I prefer 6 times zoom, first focal plane, 56mm objective, 34mm tube, mil-radian turrets and christmas tree mil-radian reticle. I really like my Athlon Cronus BTR.

I love mine. Hitting targets out to a mile with it.

What cartridge are you shooting?

I'm currently running 338-378 Mark V Weatherby mag with a Leupold vx-6 3-18(for sale), really nice scope, but want to stretch out to that mile mark.

They seem to having a stocking problem on their hands.

Nightforce is awesome glass. It simply in not well suited for hunting where target acquisition speed is relevant. It focal range is simply to small. Schmidt & Bender has optics as good or better than Nightforce and has superior focal range. If my plan was to set up a target rifle on a bipod a shoot from a lay down position I would think of getting a Nightfource. No matter how good scopes get the optics triangle will never change.

Those March scope's look really nice, not ready to drop 5k on a scope, looks like i wasnt ready to drop 3k on a nightforce. I found a really good deal on a Sightron SIII 8-32x56 going to give it a try.
