Let's get it started! The camera is live at Quartz, time to gear up and shred.

Today- 16 inches off to the side of the road. In the trees is less.

Loggers will be done back there end of next week and will be moving out. Road ploughed all the way basically.

Did these crooks up it another $5 to $30/sled for a trail pass?
Go ride somewhere else then instead of bitching and calling volunteers who run the club crooks or take up swimming. Much cheaper sport.
You obviously have no idea what it costs to run a cat. To start average 200l @$2.00/l of fuel every groom plus wages, then at least 10-20k in repairs per year. It never ends.
Or buying a new machine at $300k. Do the math at how many trail fees it takes to cover this.

I can back this statement up. Every time I turned around our cat had a 6000$ bill. Also the countless hours myself and a few others spent in it at 4-6km/h. We just sold our set up. Was way to time consuming for our small club.

Stopped in at quartz on Sunday coming back from our Saturday adventure in Revy. Did the cabin valley meadows and probed 65cm, decided to turn back and branch up the East Quartz road. We punched up the drainage after a bit of shoveling and creek-hopping. Laid down some first tracks in some safe areas before heading out, as we probed here and it was also 65-75cm’s still lots of dangers lurking. But always fun to break a trail in.

Poked up to Silent. Thin is an understatement, however with that being said with what is there we were able to punch up both sides including a group going up the waterfall. Good news it started snowing today! Keep in mind daggers everywhere down low where they logged and land mines up high in the alpine. Happy shredding. Parked at 58- lots of logging traffic…
