Said for years leafs will never go anywhere with their core, they are too soft focusing on wanting to score pretty goals and don't have the grit for the playoffs. Look at nylander, dumps the puck in and is too scared to chase it because he might get hit, absolutely pathetic unless he was battling some injury where a hit could take him out totally there is no excuse for that at all, he should have sat the rest of the game. I will say though this playoffs Matthews did surprise me, he finally stepped up a bit, if the other stars did the same they likely would have won.
