It is with regret that the ZacsTracs Crew have decided to sit out the upcoming 2021/2022 season. It is felt that with Covid restrictions limiting usable hall spaces, we would not be able to hold effective AST1 Classrooms this year.

Thank you all for supporting us through the years, and we will look at the feasibility of starting up our classes again next season. We hope that everyone has a great and safe riding season.

We are still offering our AST1 Field Sessions in Valemount with our ZacsTracs Field Instructors and in Golden with Hangfire/Trigger Point Instructors, so if you still have a field credit now is the time to book it and complete your AST1 certificate.

We have spoken to a couple of AST1 Instructors that will happily open their AST1 Classes and Field Sessions to ZacsTracs students.

For your consideration we will suggest:

Hangfire Avalanche Training - Golden and Area
Ryan Johannesen
1-250-344-0399
course@hangfiretraining.com

Ryan Johannesen in Golden will have Online Classes with Field sessions in Golden and a few Revy field sessions. He is also looking at the possibility of running something in Fernie this season.

Summit Avalanche Consulting - Grande Prairie and Area
Ryan Shelly

Ryan Shelly started out working with ZacsTracs on our field sessions in and around Grande Prairie and has since taken off to form his own company in the area. He worked with, and facilitated the retrieval and exchange of information in the North Rockies with Avalanche Canada, and that enabled bringing better more up to date bulletins to the area.

Thank you for considering our services, hopefully, next year we will be able to open our schedule back up again.

Take care and all the best this winter season.

We are always around to help out, so if you have any questions please feel free to give me a call at 403-804-3886 and I can help you out.
