Hey thanks for the additional river info.
NO BRAKES.. mentioned possibly good running from 50 st launch heading east to duvernay.

Have anyone took this trip recently knowing how low the river has become in the recent weeks.. I google mapped the river and it seems fine other than a few small islands along the way...
I wouldnt want to head downstream and not be able to get back upstream..
Any thoughts .....

runner man, all the water goes somewhere east....

and there's a big event in Smokey lake this weekend at the Metis crossing building right on the river, you'd be passing right by.

My thoughts are it’s a very easy run. It’s a far run so you’ll need gas I would image. If you can read the river it will be easy. Can be some big rocks hiding so watch out for that. But all in all it’s easy go for it

The launch at 50 st is in great shape after Loooong repairs And the fresh parking lot has a bunch of new boat stalls, which is nice to see!

How is the water level in the NSR. I have never ran it. Thinking maybe tomorrow from Devon to the Fort.

had no idea !! Wow !
I really gotta get one now !
Thats gotta be fun !

yes you do! message me when you've got one, I'll gladly show you around. It's an easy river to read and gets nicer every KM towards the mountains. I have only been as far as Drayton from the city.

Easy run. Can get a bit skinny in places but nothing to worry about. It’s kinda of a boring run but the city is cool to see, usually do it once a year. But didn’t do it this year.
