Sooo
All you engineering keyboard gurus, here is a few points to ponder:
1) Long rod motors are slower revving -maybe Polaris did not want a slow revving motor, eh?
2) Better throttle response time in the trees with a short rod motor
3) Polaris has had way better clutching than doo has ever even dreamed of having easily making up for any low end torque loss
4) Wait for some independent numbers
5) Every video so far has Polaris holeshotting doo - really badly
6) exactly what is the 5,000 to top rev difference, thousandths of a second ROFLMFAO

Doo trolls go pound sand - there is a beat down coming - accept it without the whining - act like men or go hang out in the Doo threads

1) The Ski Doo long Rod is NOT slow revving.
2) The Ski Doo has the best throttle response of any Turbo`d sled
3) The Ski Doo Pdrive is the only roller clutch on the market today, far superior to the old dated button clutch Polaris has been using for 30 years.
4) one video, the Polaris left first and that`s holeshotting the Doo really badly ? WOW
5) the 5,000 RPMS makes a big difference having a shorter power band and longevity of a motor
6) Polaris is so far behind Ski Doo in technology it`s sad, they have to take a sled with more boost and HP and then say it beats a lesser boost and HP Ski Doo WOW Polaris really did some thing.

The harsh reality of this thread is that...... Until you get Ron to buy T-Poo and like it, the site will remain Skidoo and mud.

Other than that, carry on with this thread. Knowing that this year, Doo is the first place loser next to Poo :rolling:

In them hills.
How does the poo get away with no venting above the turbo and skiddoo has to have the bbq grill?

Also, how does poo have no insulation on the suitcase?

Not a big fan of snow under my hood.

He has had clutching issues and a bog that the dealer can't find.
Never say never.

I will ride with Ron more next year.
He still likes his doo even with some nagging issues.
I took it for a short rip and liked it, oddly he did not let me take it up through some trees.
Do does build a great sled just not the best sled.

All of your points are your opinions - not facts. Differentiating between the two is very important.

And that sums it up!!! There is no best sled for everyone. But there is a best sled for you.
