Been a couple years since Ive been to Mcbride. Just got to thinking of a more expedition/camping sledding trip and remember an old guy I think at Renshaw saying that its the longest trail for sledding in the CAD rockies or something and that you could take it super far some place. But I cant remember where and cant find anything online documenting it. Any leads?

North Dore was 42 km, but a moot point, as it is closed for sledding, has been since early 2000’s. If you are looking for trail riding, there are lots in Alberta, look at the Golden Triangle

The one going to the renshaw before they built the parking lot at the bottom was a nasty trail half way up

I believe fom the Fraser River Bridge on Walker Creek Road to Kakwa cabin is 110km.

Yeah I believe that's correct, I've been told multiple numbers from 100-110km, either way it's a heck of a long way in, very few people come into Kakwa from that side. I thinks its close to 65km from the Alberta side.

Someday I'd like to ride all the way from the Lick Creek staging area on the Alberta side to Hwy 16 and back, just for the sake of doing it, gotta be 160+km each way.

Back in the day before the ski lodge and before they plowed the road. We would ride into Chatter creek from Donald.

Over 90km each way to the Alpine.

Jeez that would be!! We just did from the road and that felt like forever. But I am not a fan of short-medium-long trails.....or any
