Dean. You’re looking easily ~$7,000 Course I haven’t seen your truck lately. But it is black from what I remember so it shows everything. It’s a lot of work and materials are through the roof Box and doors come off lots of stuff to remove to do it properly to.

Yeah, I was kinda expecting to pay at least $8000, possibly as much as $11000. Hard pill to swallow for sure since the paint job still looks pretty good. If it weren't for the mess those fender flares made, I'm sure I could easily have it touched up and polished. I think I'm going to pay Ming's a visit first and see what they think about it. The wrap thing is kind of intriguing and definitely food for thought.

Bushwackers destroy paint, we spray bedliner under lots of them to prevent rust / damage. At the very least put 3M tape around the edges where the flare sits on the truck.

Doesn’t matter how clean you keep it. The flare just rubbing the paint is what wrecks it.

I have a small scratch on the front bumper on my new truck. Is it possible to just touch it up without painting the whole bumper?

Basic rule of thumb is if your finger nail drags across it you are quite likely down to base and through the clear. It’s amazing what can be fixed if you take the time. You tube has lots of info. Basically if it’s super deep you fill it with glaze and repaint it leaving it high and wet sand it out. Then polish. If done correctly you will not even be able to see it.

Thanks! I'm going to pay a body shop to fix it I think. Its just a small scratch and I'm not sure where it came from, but I don't like it!

Any good places in Red Deer area for some repairs? My F350 is showing some nasty signs of needing some tlc. Front bumper ( painted) lower door panels front and rear and along the bottom of the box. The trips to the mountains in the winter are taking there toll on it. Would like paint again and then 3M it this time.
