I love it the screen is awesome easy to use and the camera is unbelievable. This smart phone is actually too smart lol. Voice command is excellent , has screen sharing for meetings etc. lots of gimmicky stuff like not touching your screen to operate it and intuitive stuff like knowing when your looking at it and shutting off if you turn your eyes away. It's also quite big. Overall I'm quite happy so far

The girlfriend had a galaxy S4 but switched back. She liked how customizable it was, but the battery won't last all day, called numbers not in her contacts, and froze a lot. She was told by telus she has to remove the battery every couple days. The warranty isn't nearly as good as the iPhone. Telus leads you on to think you get a new phone over the counter until it comes time to needing one and it has to be sent away for repair.

The iPhone you can buy telus's warranty plan if you want, and buy the extra year through apple. In theory you'll have 3 years of warranty instead of 1.

I like my iPhones. I had a 3G before my iPhone4 and neither had issues. When you break the screen (it is inevitable) you can change the colour of your iPhone4/4s to what ever you want.

Always been a big fan of HTC over the iPhone. Just picked up the new HTC One and I can already tell its a winner. I recently found out that Telus won't allow you to block a number if your using a iPhone. Something to think about.

i have apple care with my phone $100 up front, $50 deductible to replace phone twice....... its a great deal cause ill break my phone and get a new one in the case and sell it and make all my money back and also if i do have an accident im covered.

My wives phone does not have apple care, she dropped it into water and apple replaced the phone for $220 a iphone 5 64 gig!..... WAY cheaper than buying a new phone and no one seems to know about this.

not sure if Samsung has anything similar??

You can block any number on the iPhone, it's build right in after iOS 7
