Not in the water quite yet, the bay is almost open but likely another week or 2 before the lake opens up..... I suspect the Regal is sold, guy coming to lake test it friday, should be able to launch in the bay.

Picked up a 2001 Formula 27 PC yesterday with the help of TeeGee and his truck.... Thanks a million bud.

Never realized that one prop spins one way and the other opposite. Does all twin motors do that?

This is a beauty of a boat! Was a fun day going to get it and bring it back! The old one tonne long box looks tiny in comparison to that vessel.

I spent a fair bit of time on this boat. The owner was very meticulous. It’s very clean, and you got a good deal too. He switched to a big jet.

Cheers

If they both spun the same direction, wouldn’t they throw water into each other’s water vortex, whereas, if they spin in opposite directions, they would throw the water away from each other.

Your steering would be hard in one direction while easy the other and the boat would want to turn on it self always in the one direction so you would have to really hold on to the steering wheel fighting it.
Ya its normal.
I had twin outboards on my Bayliner Trophy and same deal there was a right and left engine.
I also traded the Bayliner for a jet, man i miss the old boat now.

Was out with Chrisco and a couple other guys Saturday. Had a good day! Never took many pictures but got lots of videos. Why can’t we post videos?
