Booze in a boat?

What scares me if their power to seize and impound things, I suspect if things got argumentative and or non compliant they could really make ones life miserable, best I can gather (and it’s always tough to figure out what rights you have) the only thing they cannot do compared to a regular cop is arrest someone.

I guess play by the rules, if you can figure out the rules first.
