Anyone been out there recently? I was barely able to get my rig into the staging area due to mud after the melt earlier this spring. I could only imagine how bad it is now, anyone been out there recently? How muddy is the staging area?

Honestly dude, I'd consider staying home or heading to where it's a lot dryer. It's really just as chitty as fire bans. The only difference is we need the discipline to self-regulate. With all the rain lately, the trails are getting beat to high hell.

Ahh ok, trails are ruttted to high hell after people using it during this non stop rain ?

This weather sucks balls , I think everyone need to stop paying carbon tax so we can experience some of that global warming I keep hearing about ....

Yeah, even just gravel roads are getting beat up a bit. Lol, global warming indeed. ...seems this year it's full on fire ban or mucky mess. Something in the middle would be sweet.

We were there last Wednesday/Thursday. Yes it was pretty wet. But we still put on 70 km on the dirt bikes.

How was the staging area and the road going in, itself? I normally like to bring the RV and trailer when I head out there, but right now I am a bit wary.....

Road was good. Staging area had some puddles. And would get muddy as it rained every few hours. But it was fine.

I wouldn’t pull the trailer further down the road to the second clearing (1/2 full of water) or to the sand hills.

Thanks man I appreciate the response!

Really hoping for at least a couple hot sunny days before I head there with the family. By far my favorite place near home to ride and camp with the family, but man.... Rain Every god damn day is just too much....

Was there this past weekend.......the road is so torn up past the first sandy staging area (where you are allowed to camp) - you could not get a trailer to the 2nd sandy area

All the rain has made the road so muddy its totally torn up by all the quads / sxs machines ripping through there over the past month

Was thinking of heading there on Sunday with the family, but given what you're saying, might just head over to Vega instead.

Lots of room for trailers, there was probably close to 100 trailers in the main staging area of the races last weekend

It was really wet and muddy when we were there last year and that is probably the case right now as we have had a fair bit of rain the last couple weeks and also forecasted this coming weekend.

A pw would not make it very far unless it was dry. But then there would still be some big holes and sandy sections to deal with.
