So I found my machine starting to idle high enough that I couldn't switch gears. If I push the throttle open and allow it to snap back, it will idle normally. However, it will stick closed and I then need to reef on the throttle to free it. I figured it was just a sticky throttle cable, but when I went to replace it, I found that it was throttle body itself that is sticking closed.

Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Sea foam won't do crap for a fuel injection throttle body, no fuel goes through it

Take it off and clean the bores

Bet it has some junk in it

Geeze, totally forgot to update the thread. ...guess I'm one of my own pet peeves.

I did my best to clean it up but it was still sticking. I also tried adjusting the flapper stop so that it wouldn't close all the way - now it's idling high. I was going to try to adjust the TPS to compensate but figured messing with it this way was asking for trouble, so better to fix it properly or replace. In the end, I took it into the dealership and they ran it through an ultrasonic bath (for free). Problem solved.
